Trees and their Bark

  • Congress Park 25 East Congress Street Saratoga Springs, NY, 12866 United States (map)

This program is in partnership with the Saratoga Springs Public Library

Children grades K-6, accompanied by an adult, will meet in the Crawshaw Story Room and walk to Congress Park with an Environmental Educator from Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park who will help them identify trees by their bark. Along the way, we'll gather materials to make a twig vase back in the library. Please bring a small jar for each child. Dress for the weather! Please register each child who will be attending (adults do not have to register) either online, in-person or by calling 518-584-7860, ext. 305.
