Skulls and Furs

  • Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park Scout Road NY United States (map)

Can you tell the difference between a predator and prey? One way is by looking at their skulls! How have animal skulls adapted to help with survival? We will work together to uncover skull adaptations and identify their species. But the fun doesn't end there! Participants will have the chance to match animal furs to the skulls they identified, and learn how the fur is an important adaptation to the mammals of upstate New York. Registration is required by calling the office at 518-450-0321 or emailing info@wiltonpreserve.org
