Bog Meadow Nature Trail Walk

  • Bog Meadow Brook Nature Trail-Meadowbrook Rd entrance 202 County Road 65 Saratoga Springs, NY, 12866 United States (map)

Join our interns for a walk at the Bog Meadow Nature Trail and learn about the fascinating role that beavers play in the health and biodiversity of wetlands. On this walk, we will observe three distinct types of wetlands such as the open marsh, wet meadow, and forested wetland found at Bog Meadow Nature Trail.

These programs are developed and led by our interns in partnership with Saratoga PLAN. Participants will learn new information about the sights and sounds of your favorite Saratoga PLAN trails while discovering the amazing ecology of a habitat that may have been previously overlooked! With summer in full swing, you’re bound to discover amazing things!

These grants are supported with funding from New York State Conservation Partnership Program (NYSCPP) and New York’s Environmental Protection Fund. The NYSCPP is administered by the Land Trust Alliance, in coordination with the state Department of Environmental Conservation.
