Trail Report 2/4/2022

Snow, snow, and more snow!

It’s finally looking like a winter wonderland at Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park. Overnight, we have had an accumulation of four inches of fresh powder on top of all of the sleet that fell on our trails overnight. Per regulations by the Department of Environmental Conservation, we are unable to groom the trails until we’ve accumulated a total eight inches of snow. We hope this will be possible tomorrow morning! A quick reminder that we will be offering cross-country ski and snowshoe rentals this weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00AM-3:00PM. Last rentals will be sent out by 2:00PM. This weekend will be a perfect time to get outside. In addition to rentals the ice rink at Camp Saratoga is ready for use! If you have any questions, please contact us via email at info@wiltonpreserve.com. Happy snow day!
