Zoom Invasive Species ID and Management Training on June 11th at 6:30 pm

In collaboration with Capital Region Mohawk PRISM (Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management) we will be presenting an Invasive Species Identification & Management training specific to Wilton Wildlife Preserve& Park this Thursday evening!

In celebration of Invasive Species Awareness Week this training will be held via Zoom Meeting on Thursday, June 11th starting at 6:30pm. If you are interested in attending, please contact us at info@wiltonpreserve.org to be sent the Zoom Meeting link information.

This program will include a presentation discussing invasive plant species identification, methods of dispersal and methods of management for small infestations.

Lastly, you will watch pre-recorded short video summaries of invasive plants that we went out, found and identified here at Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park. A question and answer session with Kris Williams, Invasive Species Coordinator from Capital Region PRISM will conclude the program.
