Launch of the Larry Gordon Camp Saratoga Visitor Center Project - March 11 at 4:00 pm at Camp Saratoga

You are invited to join officials from the Town of Wilton, Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park, the Larry Gordon Scouting Museum group, and other state and local representatives for an important announcement.

WHAT: The launching of the Larry Gordon Camp Saratoga Visitor Center Project, a new welcoming facility which will showcase a Nature Center for Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park and a Scouting Museum featuring Larry Gordon’s collection of historic memorabilia

WHO: Town of Wilton Supervisor John Lant and Board Member Ray O’Conor; Margo Olson and Jennifer Benaman of Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park; Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner; State Senator Daphne Jordan; and Scott Gordon, Trish Watkins, and Linda Baker of the Larry Gordon Scouting Museum

WHEN: 4:00p.m., Wednesday, March 11

WHERE: The trailhead kiosk for Camp Saratoga North. Parking will be in Parking Lot #1 on Scout Road. See directions below.

Note: This will be an outside event, please dress accordingly. In the case of snow or other inclement weather the event will be held indoors at the Wilton Preserve office at 80 Scout Road.

Directions:

  • Take the I-87 to Exit 16. From the south, take a right or from the north, take a left onto Ballard Road, cross the Northway and make the first right on Edie Road. Continue for 1.1 miles and make a turn at your first left onto Scout Road. Drive down Scout Road until you reach Parking Lot #1 on the left side of the road.
