Call for Entries: Earth Day Essay Contest 2022

Earth Day, celebrated on April 22, brings environmental awareness to the forefront and is now recognized as the largest secular observance in the world. Each year, Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park offers an essay contest in celebration of Earth Day and the environmental movement. We believe there is great value in engaging youth in the environmental conversation. By creating this contest we hope children research and engage in the climate conversation and actively seek out solutions to protect the future resources of this planet.

The theme for Earth Day 2022 is "Invest in Our Planet." We look forward to reading the stories and creative solutions of students throughout the region! Entries are due on Earth Day, April 22nd! To view last year’s winners, submit an entry, or for further information, click here.
