Welcome New Board Members 2022
We are excited to announce our newly elected Board Members: Larry Dana, Kim Marsella, Karen D’Andrea, and Nina Russo.
We look forward to their engagement with the Board of Directors for 2022. We are so grateful for their time and commitment to Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park, and welcome them to the Wilton community!
Larry Dana
Larry Dana is a resident of the Town of Wilton and has been a volunteer at Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park for many years. He has been a trail steward and volunteers at the Historic Cornell Hill Fire Tower.
In his professional life as a Psychologist, Larry has worked doing research and has worked with patients for New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. He has been a consultant and a professor with the Empire State College. He is also an author and has presented many seminars.
Kim Marsella
Kim Marsella is also a resident of the Town of Wilton and worked for many years at Skidmore College where she worked in Academic Advising and in the Environmental Studies Department. She has recently taken a new position at the New York Six Liberal Arts Consortium.
Kim is a geologist and has taught, done research, and published papers in her field. She is an avid user of the trails at Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park and is the mom to two energetic young boys!
Karen D’Andrea
Karen D’Andrea is an attorney and counselor at law whose private law practice is in Saratoga Springs. She has been an Assistant Public Defender and an Assistant County Attorney. She is the past Board President of the Franklin Community Center and of the Saratoga County Bar Association. She was the recipient of the Saratoga Today Woman of Influence Award. She is a Saratoga Leadership Alumna.
Karen is also an avid, year-round user of the trails at Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park.
Nina Russo
Nina Russo lives in the Town of Wilton and works for the Queensbury Union Free School District as a School Psychologist where she works with parents, students, and administration. She also has been volunteer at Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park for the past two years helping out with all kinds of work, but especially with programs.
Like Kim and Karen, Nina discovered Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park as a trail runner and is an avid user of the trails.
